Each sliding sash window is supplied as standard with 24mm double glazed units incorporating Edgetech’s TruePlas spacer bar and manufactured in accordance with British Standards to give you A rated windows as standard. The glass specification is the most significant component when affecting the windows overall thermal efficiency. Our PVCu sliding sash windows come with an easy clean tilt facility as standard (excludes woodgrain external and smooth white internal windows), which allows both top and bottom sash to tilt inwards. Please note that the ‘Secured by Design’ window is not standard and must be requested as part of the window specification. SBD focuses on crime prevention of homes and commercial premises and promotes the use of security standards for a wide range of applications and products, including windows and doors helping to put the resident at ease. Our new Legacy PVCu sliding sash windows hold a host of impressive features that not only add to its good looks but also enhance the performance of the product.
With our entire sash windows range, you have the opportunity to request SBD (Secured by Design). A true heritage PVCu design is now available with the added benefit of improved visual aesthetic appeal. We’re also able to offer a deep bottom rail option for replicating existing windows.
Modern windows no longer require Sash Horns, but they can be optionally specified to give the visual appearance of traditional timber box sash windows.
